At Rethink Your Ink ^TM, your laser tattoo fading and removal specialists, we have invested in having our own calibration equipment in order to ensure effective laser treatments.  Our competitors only have their calibration checked when their lasers malfunction due to the cost of calling in manufacturers technicians.  Since treatments can be performed with substandard power levels and not be noticeable to the operator of the machine, they only way to know is that the laser is not functioning properly is that more treatments are required because less ink is broken down with the lower laser energy.

We have invested in multiple laser systems to ensure that we are simply the best choice for your laser removal or fading requirements.  Since no one laser can remove all colours efficiently and because of the variability of the composition of tattoo ink sometimes even blacks are resistant to the most common laser wavelength that almost all of our competitors commonly use  (1064nm).    We have invested in 2 more $90,000 specialized lasers to handle these tricky ink colours so the chance of just a partial removal is greatly reduced.

In 2010 Rethink Your Ink ^TM Ltd., your laser tattoo removal specialists
added the  Cynosure Accolade to our laser fleet.

The high powered 755 nm Accolade produces the correct laser energy that is highly absorbed by blue and green inks. These colours are nearly impossible to remove using 1064 nm Nd:Yag lasers alone.

Prior to the Accolade being used, our only solution to remove these colours was to use  filtered low power laser systems.  Removal of green and blue inks with the 755nm Accolade is greatly enhanced.

Hoya C6 Medlite laser

Our first laser system we purchased in 2006 was the $90,000 Hoya C6 Medlite laser.  This laser won the Aesthetic Trends best tattoo removal laser award in 2005

It was highly touted for its ability to provide incredibly high uniform power in a very large spot size.  This is highly effective for treating black and red tattoo ink.

In 2008 we added a $125,000  Revlite to our laser tattoo removal arsenal.

This laser is the big brother of the C6.  It produces higher power and pulse doubling technology in a computerized unit. which gives our clinicians to perform laser tattoo removal procedures much more efficiently.

The application of the Revlite and the 755 nm Accolade creates an extremely effective  combination of wavelengths to use  in our never ending battle to effectively remove or fade tattoo ink for our patients.

Q: How many treatments has the clinic performed?
Laser Tattoo Removal is a fairly complex procedure and a Clinic with experience should be considered. Our company has performed thousands of procedures since 2006.

Q: What experience does the actual Clinician doing the treatment have?
All our nurses have been through an extensive training program with both practical and theoretical components prior to performing any treatments.

Q: Does the clinic have malpractice insurance (not just general liability)?
Lasers are very powerful devices and the potential for injury if the operator is not trained is possible.  Being such a new industry, we have professional insurance through Lloyds of London in addition to an industry standard general liability.  Most of our competitors only carry general liability  so rest assured, your safety is our priority.  We have never had an insurance claim since we opened our doors.

Q: Can the lasers at the clinic treat ALL colors effectively?

Yes. We have 5 and, very soon, six distinct Q-Switch wavelengths to treat almost every ink color.  Most of our competitors that claim they are specialists in tattoo removal are using only 2 wavelengths (CYNOSURE AFFINITY LASERS) which are only effective on blacks and reds. With our 3 distinct  laser systems we can provide 585 nm, 650 nm and 755 nm in addition to the standard 532 nm and 1064 nm.  We are also in the process of adding a 4th laser to our arsenal (Q-Switch Ruby 694 nm) to help us treat multicolored tattoos much more effectively.

Q: Does the clinic provide you with a post care kit to assist you in post operative care of your treatment and an after hours call line for any clinical questions you may encounter after a treatment?

Patient care does not end when the treatment is done, it continues after the treatment and the Clinic should provide the necessary care. We have after hour post care available if you have any questions or are experiencing any difficulties.

Q: How many locations and how long has the laser tattoo removal clinic been in business?
We have 2 locations and have been performing tattoo removal since 2006.

Q: Is the Clinic specializing in laser tattoo removal ONLY or is it just another service they provide (i.e.: Botox, hair removal, collagen fillers)?
